Sloane Smith: Crit Two

Here's what we're down to. I have version one, completely illustrated, either with or without the pills in the head, haven't decided yet. Or version two, with the vast oceanic nothingness background, the brush strokes seem really prominent now uploaded online. I will try to make them more transparent, and we'll see how it is printed out tomorrow. Let me know which one you like and any suggestions. Thanks!

Going to put two characters on the left side, maybe "DePaul University Presents" on top to try to even the weight out. Also some sort of border or playing with the sizes of what I already have in order to even out some of that weight displacement going on here.

This is so far what i have got for my poster.

 

Those Chinese words on the helmet are my favorite part of the Mulan's poem.  And I have chosen favorite quote from the Disney's Mulan Animation at 1998.
