I used realistic colors at first but I wanted to brighten it up and make it more fun with some colors so that's what I've been working on. I also am deciding what to do with the background
this is great! I like that you added the green on the forehead and you can probably keep layering that process looking tone to other parts of your portrait. great job.
I think it's awesome. The green, purple and blue accents look great. As we discussed in class, evening out the tones in the faces will help. As for the background, I don't think it should be too busy because there is so much going on in your portrait. I think keeping a solid color, or maybe even one a bit brighter than what you have would well also.
I love the little details in your face. The wrinkles on your shirt are awesome as well. I love this!
