Fear | Critique 2 | Hadiya Robinson

I like what I've done but I feel like it's too much whitespace, should I add shading to the walls? I feel like there should be some color but I like it black and white, any suggestions? Also, is the text legible?

  1. I think some shading could help it but not too much or it might lose focus on the clown. I like it black and white, it reminds me of the movie "It"

  2. I think a shadow or even a spotlight and darken the rest of the background would work. I would say you could always add red, in terms, of color, because it's both scary and works the idea of clowns and their big, red noses. The text is legible for me, I think you could even add some more dripping/smudging if you want to. I think it's very nice and creepy.

  3. I would suggest enlarging the image of the clown and bring the text down closer to it's hat. All the empty space draws the eye up, distracting from the drawing which is amazing. I think if you brought it down the focus would shift to the clown even more. Defiantly creepy!
