Project 1: Critique 2 || Lauren DePree
I am really struggling with my anthropomorphic phone. Any thoughts on what to do with it? I've tried a few things and am really not sure how well it's reading anymore.
Also, does the notebook stand out as that was done by hand and the photo was put in. I want it to be partial and sloppy as it was done while distracted, but does it come off that way or is it off.

I like what you did with the phone especially the movement coming off of it. I think that the notebook could be cleaned up a bit on the edges. I think that adding color to the pen was a great idea as well.
ReplyDeleteNice job on the phone Lauren! I think it came out and works really well considering it is a distraction. The rumbling movement adds to it in a good way. I think the notebook can be more cropped and replaced with shadows and highlights to make it more realistic.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks good but I especially like what you did with the notebook - incorporating both hand drawings and digital illustrations together was done really well. The phone looks good too - you can tell it's a distraction. The only thing I might suggest to adjust is the eyes. Maybe add a highlight to the black like a reflection since it's a glass surface?
