This is cool! I love the way you decided to convey the different shades of the feather. Adds something interesting to the piece so it's not just a feather chilin' there. Looking good!
Great job with the feather! You created lots of motion that always makes something more interesting. You could add a few thin lines to give it more detail but overall it looks awesome!
If you're going for simple, you got it. If you're going for the realistic, just add a few more textures and you got it. I really like this piece. The contour really gives it a certain dynamic quality, like it's falling or something. It's great.
